The FCA CREST Awards are designed to objectively evaluate contractors based on key leading and lagging measures of safety. These are metrics associated with safety efforts that cause excellent safety performance and the resulting data that matches the safety performance (i.e. low injury/illness rates.)
The SSPC QP 1 Certification is meant to attest to an industrial painter's ability to apply coatings to complex industrial and marine coatings. It tests the painter's proficiency in management, quality control and compliance in the areas of safety, health and the environment.
SSPC QP2 is a nationally recognized program that evaluates the capabilities of industrial paint contractors for their ability to safely remove and properly manage hazardous coating material in the field. These standards are considered to be the minimum level of service and quality.
